These crazy times

Posted by alicia on Aug 16, 2005 in Life |

I know that everyone who reads this blog wants to know how they can be praying for me (& Dan). So in lieu of responding to the hundreds of emails that you all send me daily, I have decided to write a short post about all the things that are driving us crazy at this moment.

Of course, the move to Richmond is almost here (less than 8 weeks). There are still some things that need to come together with the house. Also, I have not found a job, yet. I have applied for a couple, but really just haven’t found many jobs that interest me or that I’m qualified for. Dan’s job is stressing him out a little because they haven’t seen any interest for their services in Richmond.

As for life now, we need PEACE. We need to know how to be there for friends, but also how to take care of ourselves when we get involved. If we don’t then we have days like today when at any moment I feel like I’m going to crumble into pieces, like glass shattering, and Dan is going to explode like TNT. Also, I have yet to get a temporary job. At this point some may say that it is hopeless, but I am still looking and hoping to find something that gets me out of the apartment and lets me bring in some $$. Lastly, I’m a little stressed about things going on with my family. Money & health are constant problems for them, also, their other main problem is me trying to help them, but not knowing how. Maybe someday I will really and truly be helpful to them.

Thanks for letting me ramble and get all this out.
