Whats up?

Well, I’ve been working a full-time job for almost 2 weeks! Who is proud of me? I’m still in training, though that will end very soon. Then I’ll be in the schools interviewing first graders. Yesterday I had a bit of anxiety, realizing that I would be working with children! What did I get myself into!?!? I just keep telling myself that this is just a temp job. I can do it.

Dan & I have been reading quite a bit lately. He is cruising through The Cronicles of Narnia. I am reading things less interesting to most people. I just finished Moll Flanders by Daniel Dafoe. What a crazy story that was! I can see how this work was a valued addition to the literary world at that time. The story is set in the late 1600’s, mostly in England. The novel is written as if a woman is telling the story of her life, which is full of crime, dishonesty, and other evils that seem to accompany poverty, but then, eventually, there is restoration. I liked it very much.
