Think Different About TV Spots

November 17th, 2008

While working at Hall & Partners I had the chance to work on several projects for Swaders Sports Park. One of the last projects I worked on was putting together a script for a :30 TV spot. I was given the great Apple Think Different spot to serve as my inspiration as I attempted to develop a script that would entertain and connect with the auidence, possibly encouraging them to live in the moment.

I was very pleased with the script that I came up with. I think writing this script was the highlight of my time at Hall & Partners. It was inspiring and exciting to develop a script that didn’t have to be full of the hard facts, or cheesy. It is creative, inspiring and alive.

Here is the final product. (Note: I was only in charge of writing the script. I didn’t have anything to do with the production…including the audio.)

Like the script, very good. The background music and the way the guy reads it doesn’t really go with the video they used.

Yeah, I wish the voice had been much stronger. My former boss did the voiceover and, of course, the day of the recording he woke up with a sore throat.
