Whether you’re invited to an end of the summer barbecue, Sunday brunch, or just going out to grab coffee here are two ways to wear white trousers one last time before Labor Day. Styling white trousers with pink, orange, deep red, or brown accents give a typically summery outfit staple (white trousers) a fall feeling. Depending on the weather where you live you can change the outfits accordingly; however, my recommendation is to go with a light/loose top to keep you from overheating paired with a cropped, relaxed fit cardigan to throw over your shoulders if you get chilly. This is also a great way to wear your favorite summer blouses before putting them away for the colder months. For shoes, I recommend wearing your favorite summer sandals. Added bonus: wearing a little heel will help elongate your legs; especially when wearing flowy pants that hit close to the ground. I put together one look with pale pink sandals to add more color to the outfit, but in the second option, I kept it simple with neutral strappy sandals. I recommend staying away from black shoes or tops as they will be a stark difference against your white trousers which are the staple of the piece.
Accessories — here you can go wild. Any metals (gold, silver, rose gold) will go well with white trousers or choose bright accessories to add a pop of color to your outfit. Tip: if you are wearing a blouse with a busy design avoid big statement jewelry, instead pair your look with simple accessories to add a little sparkle.

A final note to remember is that you make fashion, not trends or traditions. If you want to wear white trousers all year long be confident and no one will question it! Please take these tips and incorporate them with the pieces you already have in your closet or be inspired to create new outfits out of the clothes you already own.
